ADAQ™ is Atec’s custom engine test software and systems. It is robust, versatile, user friendly, and is specifically designed to handle the demanding requirements of engine testing. Because of the rigorous requirements for testing turbine engines, ADAQ™ is built upon the industry proven National Instruments LabVIEW development system. ADAQ™ is very versatile in its configurability, because every screen and function has been designed with the user in mind. Users can create, remove, calibrate and display channels; generate custom calculations; and generate reports-and that is just a sampling of the available configuration options.
Atec’s ADAQ™ engine test cell Data Acquisition and Control System is a modern, full-featured, highly integrated hardware and software solution that is applicable to most commercial and military test applications. ADAQ™ is suited for installations in new test facilities as well as upgrades to antiquated test cells. ADAQ™ has been designed to be quickly and easily reconfigured for all engine types. In fact, its flexibility makes it particularly well suited for multi-engine test facilities. Because process reliability is a key component of any test system, ADAQ™ includes displays of all critical test data, engine and facility status, multi-level alarming, and custom report generation and network connectivity. ADAQ™ is ideally designed for the upgrade of existing test cells. The entire data acquisition and control system is housed in the control console as shown. The system is assembled, verified and tested at Atec prior to shipment to the customer’s facility. This reduces the amount of test cell down time, minimizing the impact on production schedule.
