Remote Display
P/N: 4717-0969
The newly designed Atec Remote Display Unit is a form, fit and functional equivalent to the technically outdated A/M37T-20B instruments currently existing in the field. All indications and interface connections with the Consolidated Instrument have been retained to make the installation and use of these instruments as simple as plug and play. The new design of the Remote Display and Consolidated Instrument require they function as a set. That is, early models of the Remote Display Unit will not interface with the new Consolidate Instrument.
The Remote Display Unit is part of the redesigned A/M37T-20B instrument package that allows the US Air Force and foreign militaries to retain redundancy of signals in the control cab while utilizing existing cables and adapter kits, something not possible on the new T-20C instrumentation package. The new family of T-20B instruments reduces calibration time by utilizing the DAQ modules ability to accept and calibrate signals in software.
The new Remote Display Unit will display analog signals from the Consolidated Instrument with 18-bit accuracy. A CPU card will read the data in engineering units from the data acquisition module via RS232. The corresponding signals will be displayed on a backlit alphanumeric 24X2 LCD display.
